Hi there, and many thanks for the offer of help!

As it goes, I've been hodgpodging things together to form some sort of basis, which mainly entails plagiarising things from Wikipedia, however, once I've got the portals instated, I'd like to effectively start building up a knowledgebase, at this point in time (I'm not sure what kind of trader you are), if something pops into your head like some obscure economic indicator or chart tool, just create the page and I'll probably pop along and do it!

Aside from that, anything you happen to know yourself, even your broker is perfect content!

Hello! Over in Campaigns Wikia I've been working on the List of participating bloggers to try and get some sort of community page where people can see other people and learn about them. I think a lot of Campaigns Wikia is going to be about people with agendas making friends with lots of different people with lots of different opinions because they're all working on "their issue" in this big place. So meet and greet seems important to me.

Hi Gil!

You posted on my discussion in Campaigns Wikia, asking me to translate the Mission Statement. Well, a first draft is ready on my personal page. There are a few technical terms I need help with, although some of them are words I understand in english, but no analogous words exist in spanish. Anyway, edit the translation as you please. Bye!

p.s. Although I never really became a major contributor in Wikipedia, that was not because of a lack of interest, but mainly because the comunity was so well established that I didn't think I could help much. Anyway, I think I could be of help in the new Spanish Campaigns Wikia, so, when the time comes, I would like to volunteer to be an administrator. My user in Wikipedia is Thor Waldsen, so you have some sort of history on me (same user in the spanish Wikipedia).

Ebay Hong Kong Edit

Dear Mr. Penchina I am aware that you are no longer involved with Ebay, but I was hoping that you could help me out with a quick query. As a long term expatriate living and working in HK, I am keen to take advantage of the Ebay HK website. Unfortunately this is virtually impossible as the entire site is offered only in Chinese. I have checked the Internet for contact details of your successor with a view to contacting him/her to discuss the possibility of an English version of the site, but found no details. I note Mrs.Kerry Wong's and Mr. Benjamin Grubbs' comments about the value of the site to international businesses and traders and find it strange that they expect anyone outside HK/China to be able to read Chinese. This oversight must surely be losing Ebay a considerable ammount of money in lost trade. Would you care to comment or at least be kind enough to supply me with a contact number or email address of somebody I discuss this with. I have tried to obtain a phone number for Ebay via directory enquiries in HK but was told it was not listed! How does anyone there expect to promote Ebay HK if they are so difficult to get hold off. Grahame - I have a couple answers for you, although not ideal. The main number for eBay is 001-408-376-7400. Also you can search for HK listings in english by going here: Advanced Search and then selecting "items located in Hong Kong". When you do that and search for * you will see all items - see this search at Search results --Gil 18:50, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Main Page Edit

I have started the Home Page template at Main Page/temp. I have done most of it, I just need you to look it over and suggest any improvements. The two images at the top can be changed on a regular basis to give to page some more variety. Also the browse box should be updated often. The colors can also be changed. I have updated it, the browse section has been moved to where you suggested while a "Selected Pages" section has replaced that can contain links to popular destinations, good articles, articles requiring clean up and more. I did do some tests on atemplate I copied from Wikipedia (Template:Click) in an attempt to make the images clickable but it fialed so the images will have to just have text links under them. You are in violation of the GFDL, you have copied and pasted my redesign of the main page, which does not give me any attribution in the page history. To rectify this you must,

• Get one of the sysops to delete the Main Page (but not the talk page).
• Get them to retore all the edits up to and including ip 67.188.124.187's.
• Move Main Page to Main Page/Archive 1
• Move Main Page/temp to Main Page.
• Re-implement your changes (you can just paste a copy of the current main page (you must save it to your pc now as it will be deleted when you need to do this)).
