[edit] Encouraging the creation of links

"Got something to say that doesn't fit in the other sections of this page? Create a new page about it. If it's great, add a snippet below." - needs a way to encourage such writers to start the new page by creating a link on the Jackson Hole page (with or without a tempting snippet). Changing the above wording would be part of it; you may need to modify what comes "below" too, or (better?) direct people to an earlier part of the page where there are existing links that they should model theirs on.

Hi Robin -

Great suggestion and very valid. The problem you are commenting on is the result of the constraints of the {{place}} template. With the format and headers imposed, users aren't sure where to put "other" stuff. I fear this may have stifled creativity for some. We are working on solutions to a number of pain points like this. Can you elaborate on your suggestion above and maybe create an example within Jackson Hole which we can point people to? Thanks, ---- BillK (talk) 22:20, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
