Pokhara is a small city in central parts of Nepal, and is located around 200 km west of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. located at 28.24 N, 83.99 E, approximately 200 km west of Kathmandu. It is the capital of Kaski District, Gandaki Zone and the Western Development Region. From Pokhara, you may enjoy a wonderful view of three famous ranges of the Himalayas, the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, and each have peaks rising over 8000 m.
