Pokhara is a small city in central parts of Nepal, and is located around 200 km west of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. located at 28.24 N, 83.99 E, approximately 200 km west of Kathmandu. It is the capital of Kaski District, Gandaki Zone and the Western Development Region. From Pokhara, you may enjoy a wonderful view of three famous ranges of the Himalayas, the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, and each have peaks rising over 8000 m. In case, the sky is clear, the spectacle of three majestic mountain ranges impart a special sense of charisma to Pokhara. No wonder, the place attracts a large number of tourists almost round the year.
