Pepperidge Farm remembers when the Pennsylvania Turnpike was a ticket system the entire way and E-Z pass was not accepted.  Nowadays you pay a toll when you enter from the Ohio Turnpike.  Once you get past the exit for Pittsburgh, it becomes a ticket system.  There are some extensions of the turnpike.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike crosses through some mountainous terrain.  It also goes through some tunnels.  In some areas, there is one service plaza for both directions of travel.  The service plazas sell Sunoco fuel.  Some of them sell E85.
