Paradise Wildlife Park: Located in Broxbourne off junction 25 of the M25, Paradise Wildlife Park is a fantastic, fun filled, destination for all the family. The Park has an amazing range of animals including tigers, lions, monkeys, zebras, camels and wolves and what makes them really unique is the fact that you can get up close and personal, meeting and feeding many of the animals. As well as the fascinating inhabitants of our Animal Park, they also have lots of rides and attractions to keep the whole family entertained. Make sure to consult your park map upon arrival to check the daily schedule of events so that you don't miss a thing; there are Keeper Talks and shows throughout the day included in the admission price for everyone to enjoy.
There are a number of play areas around the Park that are suitable for all age groups. 'Funland' and 'Adventure Playground' are linked by our Ancient Woodland Walk, along which you will find species native to the British Isles such as Foxes, Owls and Red Deer and more will be introduced in 2007. Along this walk you will also discover many species of Flora and Fauna that are part of the conservation work, undertaken by the PWP Gardening Team, which is headed up by Brian & Jennifer Longley.
In our Adventure Playground children can have a swash buckling high seas voyage down at Pirates' Cove or take a gentle ride on Thomas the Tank Engine. All adventures are catered for and children with special needs can also enjoy some thrills in 'The Special Place'. Safari Sam's Restaurant is located nearby for lunch or a quick pit stop to top up energy levels before you head off to spot Dinosaurs! on The Woodland Railway*. Bouncy castles, a Helter Skelter, Roundabout, Canyon Trucking* and Manning's Amusements* are all available just off of the Great Ormond Street Garden in the centre of the Park. During the summer months the ideal way to round off your visit to Paradise Wildlife Park is to bring along your swimming costumes for a dip in The Paradise Lagoon. All children are welcome to use this facility free of charge. *small extra charge applies.
New for Spring 07 Paradise Wildlife Park will be introducing White Lions,Penguins and a White tiger to their animal collection. White Lions are the most endangered species of Lion and also known as 'Ghost' Lions; a small group has recently been reintroduced into the wild in South Africa. Eventually the park will be offering visitors the opportunity to indulge in a 'Feed the White Lions Experience' available through their web site[1]
