Nijmegen is a university city close to the German border.

There are three so called liftershaltes:

1. at the Graafseweg (Venlo and 's-Hertogenbosch} (often used as a parking spot)
2. at the verkeersplein near the Waalbrug {direction Arnhem} and
3. at the Annastraat, close to the university.
