The Gulf Coast Region of the United States makes up of the states Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas.

The Gulf Coast enjoys large beachfronts, stretching over 900 miles along the 5 states. Besides that, many other tourist attractions include:

Many of the cities along the coast have airports available for domestic and international travel. Many of the major stopping points include George Bush Intercontinental Airport (Houston, IAH); Corpus Christi International Airport (Corpus Christi, CRP); New Orleans International Airport (New Orleans, MSY); Mobile Regional Airport (Mobile, MOB); Tallahassee Regional Airport (Tallahassee, TLH); Jacksonville International Airport (Jacksonville, JAX); Orlando International Airport (Orlando, MCO); and Miami International Airport (Miami, MIA).

There are many Interstate highways that run near the Gulf Coast. For travel through all the states, Interstate 10 runs from El Paso, Texas to Jacksonville, Florida. Buses can easily be booked for travel, and RVs re also available.

Amtrak is the only rail service along the coast, with stations at most major cities. Bookings can be made at Amtrak.com.
