Constructed in 1990, Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has recently undergone a $50 million renovation to add technology for guestrooms, a new restaurant, and an art museum. The resort was the first Four Seasons resort ever built and continues trailblazing the way with its award-winning services and amenities. It was voted 91st by Travel + Leisure’s 2006 World’s Best Top 100 Resorts Awards Readers Poll and ranks on the World’s Top Resorts 2007/2008 by Zagat Survey for Top Resorts, Top Services, and Top Destination Spas. In 2007, Condé Nast Traveler readers voted the resort on their Gold List for one of the best resorts to stay in the world.

The resort is a part of the Toronto-based Four Seasons chain of luxury hotels and resorts. Four Seasons Resort Maui, the first and only AAA Five Diamond Award and Mobil Five-Star Award winning Hawaiian resort, is home to four restaurants and bars, including an outpost of celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck’s Mobil Four-Star rated Spago. Four Seasons Resort Maui is located near the Wailea beach on the Island of Maui, which is the second largest of the islands in the Hawaiian archipelago.

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea boasts three par-72 championship golf courses, one of which hosts the LPGA Skins Game. The Spago Restaurant, with a Wolfgang Puck menu, was awarded a Four-Star ranking by Mobil Travel.
