Big Bear Lake California (2016)

Big Bear Lake, surrounded by the San Bernadino National Forest, is a mountain resort community, 100 miles Northeast of Los Angeles and adjacent to California's Inland Empire region. The Lake is eight miles long, Altitude ranges from 6,750 to 9,000 feet.

The San Bernardino Mountains accumulate close to 120 inches of snow every season. Most resorts are augmented with 100% snowmaking capabilities. There are many opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, family funzones, skate parks, scenic trails and much more. You can find lesson programs for all levels of skill. Elevations range betweeen 6750 to 9000 feet. Winter temperatures usually range from daytime low 40s to nighttime mid 20s.
