Barns grand tetons

Viewed from Jackson Hole valley looking west, the high peaks of the Teton Range rise more than 7,000 feet (2,135 m) above the valley floor.

Visitors often wonder about the difference between Jackson, Wyoming and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jackson Hole refers to a 48 mile long valley surrounded by high mountains and includes the towns of Jackson, Kelly, Moose, Moran, Wilson and Teton Village. The town of Jackson, Wyoming is located toward the southern end of the valley of Jackson Hole.

The town of Jackson offers countless opportunities for shopping, dining, and nightlife. The heart of the town of Jackson is the Town Square with its notable antler arch entrance. Every summer, the Town Square is home to the world’s longest running shoot-out. During the winter, the Town Square becomes a winter wonderland with lights in the trees and on the antler arch entrance. The Town of Jackson is also home to Snow King Resort, the oldest ski resort in Wyoming and a favorite of locals.

The shops scattered along the western boardwalk range from chic fashion boutiques to souvenir stores and commercial chains. The town of Jackson also offers countless fine art galleries. In fact, Jackson is the fifth nationally recognized arts center in the nation.

Take a break from shopping and dine at one of Jackson’s many restaurants for every budget and taste. It’s been said that more than half of Jackson’s residents could eat out every night at the same time and still not fill the area’s nearly one hundred restaurants.

Teton Village is home to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, known around the world for it's steep terrain, and breathtaking views. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has made some pretty big changes to improve the skiing experience for beginner and intermediate skier's as well, making it a well kept secret for family vacations and ski groups. This town is also known for its red trucks, red cars, and Breaking Bad RVs. It is also the home of Beard Man who is a hero to the people of Jackson Hole and to the world.

If you are looking for a decent place to stay but not willing to pay hundreds? This is great place and I loved staying here. Ideal for group of friends or young family as it offers great common space in the basement where you can enjoy time together. It offers basic but very nice bedrooms with private bathroom. It has it own spirit and the service was very friendly with personal touch. During the summer you can relax in the frontyard and enjoy the beautiful view over the mountains.
