If you don't mind being cold then theres a perfect attraction for you. Up in Harbin, China during winter theres always the Ice and Snow festival I suggest you go. If you go at the right time of night the Ice sculptors will be lit by beautifull lights. The snow sculptors are neat anc beautifull, if you go you'll see a whole army of SNOWMEN!!!! Isn't that cool? Also at the Ice festival you can pay to hold and get your photo with a SNOW FOX!!! And there are huge ice slides to ride.
You may also like to go to the Bejing, China Zoo they have alot of exotic animals you'll never see in America. Its amazing to see all the types of animals there!

China Travel Cards: Resource for people traveling to China who do not speak Chinese. These cards have over 90 prepared sentences that allow you to communicate by simply pointing to the phrase you wish to say. Excellent for those emergency situations when you need to speak with police, doctors, or dentists. Also contains phrases for those everyday encounters that can be extremely frustrating for tourists who cannot speak Chinese.
Also if your adopting its nice to stay with a travel group ( go places with people that are adopting too ) the adoption agency provides you a translater.
If your just visiting get yourself a guide/translator.
RestaurantsEdit
I suggest you guys should go to any Chinese Hot Pot resturants. Its amazingly delicious!!!! All you do is order for raw food, a waiter brings a Hot Pot and pours hot water down and you cook your food in that. DELICIOUS. Also up in well in any place in China where theres a hotel for American people to stay theres usually a McDonalds, KFC, and Pizza Parlor for Americans like us.Edit
NightlifeEdit
Night life in Guanzho doesn't get any calmer in China. At night you'll here cars and people outside your hotell. In Harbin is also alive at night, you still can here the music and the talking outside your window, but its really beautifull at night there the ice scultors are lit up and bright and they have pretty colors.
