Brooklyn, connected to Manhattan by both a series of bridges and The Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, is the most well-known and populated district of New York. It is located along subway Lines 2 and 3 . Brooklyn Bridge, built in 1869, crosses The East River and is the most famous bridge linking Brooklyn with Manhattan.
